Before performing your crown placement procedure, we’ll assess the affected tooth. This ensures that a crown is right for you.

The tooth receiving the crown needs preparation. Once ready, we’ll bond the crown firmly in place.

What Are Dental Bridges?

If you’ve lost one or more teeth, it’s not just your smile that you’ll worry about. Chewing and biting become problematic. Food can easily become trapped in the gaps, and suddenly meals you once enjoyed are off the menu.

Without a full set of teeth, the remaining neighbours could start to slide out of position. This is known as dental drift. Additionally, the hard-to-clean gaps between teeth often become areas of concern where bacteria can build up.

- Cantilever bridges – Where a pontic can’t have support from both sides, a
  single crown will hold it in position

While waiting for the lab to build your perfect bridge, we’ll place a temporary solution that will restore the look and function of your smile for the time being. You might love this, but wait until you see the permanent bridge the skilled lab technicians create.

Finally, when the restoration is ready, we’ll prepare the teeth receiving crowns and permanently fix your bridge.
